igus® igubal® Spherical bearing, EGLM-05
Direct replacement for GE5C spherical bearings. igubal® spherical bearings The use of spherical bearings is usually associated with high weight bearing materials, difficult installation, and high costs. Most of the time, maintenance is still necessary over the long-term, and the bearings are only corrosion-resistant in special designs. Often roller bearings or plain bearings malfunction prematurely due to high edge loads, or because they need to be elaborately readjusted, reamed, or refitted in order to compensate for alignment errors. igubal® spherical bearings put an end to all of these disadvantages and open up many new possibilities for your engineering design: they are easy to handle, cost-effective, lightweight and robust. The housing is made from igumid G, an extremely impact-resistant, long-fibre-reinforced polymer. Suitable for temperatures from -30 °C to +80 °C in long-term use. In standard spherical bearings, the spherical ball is made from iglidur® W300 material, which is known for lowest coefficients of friction in dry operation and extremely low tendency to stick-slip. This is especially important for low loads and very slow movements. The shaft tolerance should be between h6 and h9. The bearing clearance allows for expansion of the bearings due to increasing temperatures. Assembly igubal® spherical bearings are press-fitted into a recommended H7 housing bore and axially secured. Exact alignment of the bearing housing is not necessary since the spherical bearing automatically compensates for alignment errors.
DIN Rail, 368 mm
DIN rail TS35x7.5. Cut to length burr-free, made from sendzimir galvanized steel. Hole pattern is 25x5.2mm and matches deck panel and aluminium extrusion distances so they can be mounted below the printer.
Keenovo Silicone Heatmat, 240 x 240 mm, 230 V/AC, 300 W
The silicone heatmats were custom designed by Fermio Labs and made to spec by Keenovo. All heaters are optimized for our build plates shapes and hole positions. They allow even heating almost all the way to the edges of the build plate. The power is adjusted to allow running them at 100 % power without risking damage to the build plate instead of the 50% to 80% PWM limit recommended for the heaters listed on the BOM. The standard DIN466 thumb nuts used in all Voron printers used as spacers (VORON2) or levelling nuts (Trident, VORON0 and VORON1) can be used as guides to align the heater. For added safety all heaters come with a self resetting bi-metal 150C thermostat. This turns off the heater if temperatures reaches 150 C due to technical failure of your electronics (only meant as a safety feature, not for temperature regulation). Thermistor used is a NTC 100K thermistor (Beta 25/50 3950K-1%, click here for the R-T datasheet) Choose type 11 or 13 in Marlin firmware. Use "Generic 3950" in Klipper.
